Please join the Black Home Initiative (BHI) network for a Community Happy Hour during the 9th Annual Affordable Housing Week. This is intended to be a time for connection, celebration, and collaboration. We’ll provide opportunities to learn more about the network and how you can support it – while we join together in community to have some fun. Whether you’re learning about BHI for the first time or have been involved from the start, all are welcome!

The Black Home Initiative (BHI) is a regional effort that seeks to target the racial inequities at the core of the housing ecosystem in an effort to increase homeownership among Black householders. We are united in our shared priority of creating opportunity to 1,500 new low- and moderate-income Black households to own a home in South Seattle, South King County, and North Pierce County by 2027.
